Last week, TV Guide released news that made Fangirls everywhere cheer. Two new Digital First series based on Arrow and The Flash are being released this Fall to help stave off the depression of the time away from the shimmering abs of Stephen Amell or the witty brilliance of Felicity Smoak.
The first digital chapter of Arrow: Season 2.5 will be released on Monday, September 1. The series is to be written by Marc Guggenheim (Arrow‘s executive producer, with art by Joe Bennett and inks by Jack Jadson.
The Flash: Season Zero will release the following Monday, September 8. and be written by Andrew Kreisberg (showrunner on The Flash and Arrow Executive Producer) with art by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur.
Both series will alternate digital chapter releases every Monday but will be individually released come the premiere of the shows in October ( Arrow returning Wednesday, October 8th at 8/7c and The Flash premiering Tuesday, October 7th at 8/7c, both on The CW).
