Universal Halloween Horror Nights Preview 2014

ScareLAUniversal Studios continues to bring the most beloved properties face-to-face with you to create some of the most stunning mazes and scare zones on the planet.  At ScareLA 2014, Universal Studios Hollywood announced its latest addition to the Halloween Horror Nights roster.

In the 2014 season, we will be seeing John Landis’ “An American Werewolf in London” come to life in HHN Hollywood.  Landis himself was there to announce the maze with HHN directors John Murdy and Chris Williams to unveil the reasoning behind bringing such a classing to Universal, as well as initial concepts for set design and makeup design.

There still been no word on the concept of a Bill and Ted’s show, let alone any kind of show, which is upsetting.  It’s the only show in the park during HHN, and it’s good to take a break from standing in the lines all night.  If you are worried about offending, then sure, don’t do Bill and Ted.  But without the show to break up some of the waiting times on some of these mazes, I can see nothing but this speeding towards an oncoming train.

As always, HHN has kept things close to the chest but this is par for the course.  We are coming up to the season, though, and this is what we all know for sure that they have announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2014.

*Alien Vs. Predator

*From Dusk Til Dawn

*Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood

*Face Off: In The Flesh

*The Walking Dead: The End Of The Line

*Terror Tram: Invaded By The Walking Dead

Many a maze, to be sure.  One wonders how they will all fit, given the fact that the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is still being built and eats up much of the park.  We will simply have to trust it will all fit, keep pushing forward, and scare the hell out of people.  And with scare zones such as the return of “The Purge,” fan-favorite “Mask-A-Raid,” and of course a few Walking Dead zombies meandering about, that shouldn’t be too hard.
