Share

Amazing Arizona Comicon is a growing comic book and media convention in Phoenix, Arizona. It is scheduled for the second weekend of February (13th-15th) 2015 and looking at their site reveals that they boast an incredible array of talent from all genres! For the 2015 convention year, AAC’s line up is one to be reckoned with. Between Scott McNiven (known for rekindling Guardians of the Galaxy and topping the charts with Old Man Wolverine), Kevin Eastman (the visionary behind TMNT) and Greg Capullo (renowned penciler) there is a lot to be said about AAC’s dedication to comic creators and artists. Not interested in comics? That’s ok! AAC is also featuring some great voice talent such as the cast of Sailor Moon: Linda Ballantyne – Sailor Moon, Katie Griffin – Sailor Mars, Susan Roman – Sailor Jupiter and Toby Proctor – Tuxedo Mask!

If voice talent or comics don’t peak your excitement try attending a panel or joining AAC’s costume contest. Programming for AAC is not yet posted however; they promise everything from Fan meet-ups to DIY costuming workshops and more! With regard to costuming….AAC has a well-known reputation for bringing in the best cosplay talent. Their line up starts with Chloe Dykstra: a woman who got her start in video games and evolved further into cosplay with her debut in SyFy’s Heroes of Cosplay. Cosplay guests multiply with Sailor Moon groups and judges who will preside over the costume contest. If you are a cosplayer be sure to make it to this event! AAC has procured one of the best cosplay photography and videography teams in the southwest: Twisted Manga. Check out their YouTube channel and see for yourself what an amazing pair these two are!
