Archer has a problem. After a wild weekend, Archer finds himself unable to get home. He is not only on the “no fly” list, but he has also been banned from trains and refuses to take a bus. After calling in a few favors from Cheryl, the private plane of the Tunt family arrives with most of the crew. The group manages to get itself in trouble by flying over restricted airspace that happens to be right over Area 51. With Archer taking the lead and using Slater’s codes, Pam and Kriger discover the truth about aliens while the rest of the crew tries desperately to stay out of the way.
Pam and Krieger manage to shine in this episode, but for the most part this episode seemed weaker than normal. Archer yet again gets himself in trouble, but I worry how long the repercussions of Archer’s no fly and no train bans will last. Mallory and Lana discussing the price of changing AJ’s name is also getting old.
Archer seems to be slowing down the more we get into this recent season. I have my fingers crossed that something big is on the horizon.
