Legendary Blues musician B.B. King Has Died At 89

The world is mourning today as we wake up to the news that legendary blues musician B.B. King has died. Born Riley B. King, King in known for bringing blues to the mainstream with songs like “Every Day I Have The Blues”, “Sweet Little Angel”, and “The Thrill Has Gone,” King was listed on Rolling Stone’s 2011 list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

King was hospitalized May 1st with complications from his high blood pressure and diabetes, and announced on his website that he was under hospice care at his Las Vegas home. He died on May 14th at 9:40pm.

The music world has certainly lost one of the greats.
