The San Diego Comic-Con saw the release of a longer Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer. There are actually some glimpses of Wonder Woman in there, and she looks good–very fierce. It might be worth watching just for her, though there is still no indication of how much screen time she will actually have.
The rest looks like the old comic-book standby where two heroes are manipulated by the villain into fighting one another and eventually figure out that they are not enemies just in time to (hopefully) stop the villain. Of course, some of this feeling of deja-vu could be because this is a trailer, and trailers always like to show the exploding bits in order to make sure everyone knows the movie will be exciting. In any case, Batman is not going to be able to complain about the amount of collateral damage Superman causes, not after some of those fights.
About the villain–is it just me or does he look awfully familiar member of Batman’s rogue’s gallery?
