CosFest AZ: Breaking Ground on Cosplay Conventions

July 25th marks the debut of the first cosplay-focused convention in Arizona. This event, dubbed “CosFest”, is a single day convention that hosts a plethora of cosplay groups, charities and professionals. I have had the good fortune of being invited to this event as a part of the cosplay charity group The Heroes and Villains of Tomorrow. Here’s a quick preview of what this newly-established convention has to offer:

There will also be a car show with comic themed vehicles for attendees to take pictures next to. Additionally, Cosfest will host their first ever cosplay contest! According to their website (www.cosfestaz.com) all costumed attendees are welcome to register for the cosplay masquerade.

So if you are in the Mesa, Arizona area on July 25th be sure to stop by the Arizona Conention Center and experience what is sure to be an amazing costume bonanza!
