Second Season of ‘Dark Matter’ to Premiere on Syfy in 2016

Dark Matter Cast PhotoSyfy will be renewing Dark Matter for a second, thirteen-episode, season in 2016. The show follows the lives of six people who wake up on board an spaceship with no idea who they are or how they got there, plus an android who knows very well who she is. Over the course of the first season, most of the humans have been able to piece together their former identities, but that has only increased their difficulties.

Created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, producers and writers for Stargate Season 2, Dark Matter is based on their graphic novel which was published by Dark Horse comics.

The series features Marc Bendavid as One, Melissa O’Neil as Two, Anthony Lemke as Three, Alex Mallari Jr as Four, Jodelle Ferland as Five, Roger Cross as Six, and Zoie Palmer as the android.
