Dark Horse Offers a Return to ‘Sin City’ with ‘The Hard Goodbye Curator Collection’

unnamed (1)Created and assembled from Kitchen Sink Book imprint, Dark Horse Comics will be publishing Frank Miller’s Sin City: The Hard Goodbye Curator’s Collection. This collection showcases the entire graphic novel as scanned from original artwork in Frank Miller’s  personal archives and reproduced unedited at full size.

 

Frank Miller is excited about the collection, mentioning that fans can “see my work warts and all.” He says that now readers can “see just how many mistakes” he “actually made.”

Curator’s Collection is Kitchen Sink Book’s term for archival deluxe collections that include essays, interviews and unpublished works. The Hard Goodbye Curator’s Collection is the first volume planned in the series from the imprint.

The book retails for $175, and is HUGE; it is 15 x 21.5 Inches, 224 Pages and has a sewn binding under a cloth spine. The book also includes an introduction from Robert Rodriguez and an epilogue from publisher Mike Richardson.

Frank Miller will also be singing an exclusive print of his original cover artwork for Sin City at New York Comic Con on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 4:00-4:45pm at the Dark Horse booth (#1636). This is a wristband-only event, so make sure to get a wristband from the Dark Horse booth.
