There’s a new clip from Independence Day: Resurgence. Yet more aliens and more ships heading are way, ready for resistance this time, still glad to blow things up spectacularly, and still willing to use human puppets to convey their messages. Several of the old human fighters are facing them again, most especially Bret Spiner’s eccentric Dr. Brakish Okunand Jeff Goldblum’s David Levinson.
According to the official synopsis, “We always knew they were coming back.”
Did we? After all this time, are you looking forward to the sequel? The first one was–and still is–delightful, mindless, fast-moving fun, but can a sequel deliver something new and stay fun?
What do you think?
