The second Star Trek Beyond trailer is several steps better than the first. Things still blow up, of course, and there is a lot of fighting, but the trailer also shows that these are people together on this voyage. There are bits of conversation–real conversation, not random arguments are frantic planning. There is a good look at the crew, all of the main crew members, of course, but also enough other people that one senses an actual crew here, not a handful of people on a super-big ship.
And there is a score with some of that sense of wonder and exploration. The movie suddenly seems to have promise.
Even if they do crash the Enterprise. Again. Seriously, how many times has an Enterprise crashed, been blown up or otherwise destroyed in the different movies now? Has anyone counted?
What synopsis we have Star Trek Beyond so far
