It seems we’ve been facing our fears a lot lately, but October 11th 2016 is the official Face Your Fears day. Whether you’re uncomfortable around spiders, or coming up with plans due to all the supposed recent clown sightings, today is the day to tackle them head on. A Monster Calls, the new film starring Sigourney Weaver, Felicity Jones, Toby Kebbell, Lewis MacDougall, and Liam Neeson, is celebrating with this clip today. The movie follows a young man as he faces a cruel grandmother and sick mom.

Here’s the official synopsis:

A visually spectacular and unabashedly emotional drama from director J.A. Bayona. 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) is dealing with far more than other boys his age. His beloved and devoted mother (Felicity Jones) is ill. He has little in common with his imperious grandmother (Sigourney Weaver). His father (Toby Kebbell) has resettled thousands of miles away. But Conor finds a most unlikely ally when the Monster (portrayed by Liam Neeson in performance-capture and voiceover) appears at his bedroom window one night. Ancient, wild, and relentless, the Monster guides Conor on a journey of courage, faith, and truth that powerfully fuses imagination and reality.

The film will be in select theaters December 23rd, and nationwide January 6, 2017.
