This is the cover of this book; Jim Henson’s Labyrinth Artist Tribute. This is a beautiful cover. This is a cover that doesn’t even begin to hint at the awesomeness inside the pages. My reviews are supposed to have a bare minimum of words to pass muster. You might not have known that, but I’m telling you because there will be hardly any words in this post. The book is available now, so you can go get it. And I urge you that if you are a Jim Henson fan, A Labyrinth fan, a David Bowie fan (may he rest in peace), then you should go get this book.
So there are the words. Now for the pictures. The book is over 100 pages and nearly all of them are illustrations. I could not give you all of them. Sadly I can’t do justice to the 50 plus artists who worked on this book. Who put their love and their talent on display for you. What I could do, however, was take a few screenshots as I went through the digital copy I was gifted for this review. Which is what I did. I hope you enjoy this sampling of what these artists had to offer. I hope it encourages you to go out and get the book, or watch the movie. (Just go watch the movie anyway)
