The original show was as smart & imaginative as it was fun and exciting. It was the first “grown-up” TV show that I understood, and ever since I did it’s been one of my favorite go-to for some “me” time.
What I love about star trek is fond memories of my father ..now gone from cancer, watching it religiously and allowing us as children to watch it too
Great giveaway
It will always be a classic!
I love Star Trek because it allows me to feel like I am entering another world when I watch it
I like the multicultural aspect of Star Trek.
I grew up watching TNG with my dad so this particular show will always have a special place in my heart for that very reason, otherwise love the quality of writing and acting, the ethics and Roddenberry’s vision of the future where people of this planet are unified, advanced and not greedy and stupid like today. Oh and those old school special effects are the best! #LLAP
I love the vision of a cooperative future. And that the stories tend to focus on character rather than plot. Most of the time.
My favorite thing about Star Trek is Q! My second favorite thing is Reichert. My 3rd favorite thing is Picard’s shirt pull. My fourth favorite thing is the sweet father son relationship on DS9.
I love that Star Trek was so ahead of its time, that it envisioned a peaceful (mostly) universe, and its episodes were so thought-provoking. i also loved Spock’s character, embodying an inner struggle for authentic selfhood.
My Great Granddaughter is a big fan…. She would love this!
Would love to win, I grew up watching star trek.
I love the good guys against the bad guys and good prevails! I also like that it teaches not to discriminate.
I love the way the way the characters, on all the shows, have each others backs.

I Loved the adventure when I was a kid. It was always exciting.
I was introduced to Star Trek in my 20s and I immediately loved it! It’s just a fun thing to watch and you learn a bit in the process!
I love the speculation about what our future will be like, and of course the characters. And it holds a certain nostalgia for me, as well.
My husband would say his favourite part about Star Trek is… Seven of Nine.
Thanks for giving.
I used to love watching Star Trek reruns as a kid! Now I like the new movies too. They’re really well done

TNG was a weekly bonding time with my dad. My kids and I binge-watched the series to continue the tradition!
The characters are so easy to connect with and I love the story lines. The next Generation is my favourite.
I just love the whole weirdness of Star Trek. So different from anything else. I’ve always loved Star Trek … a lot!
I love EVERYTHING about Star Trek! Our family has been Trekkies since the original series aired in the 60’s. I doubt there would have been Star Wars if there hadn’t been Star Trek first!
I was quite young when the original series aired, and it really sparked my imagination. I ended up with a lifelong interest in space and science fiction.
What I loved about Star Trek was it’s existentialism. No good and bad, us versus them. Just each and every thing trying to get by in the universe.
Love all the unique characters in Star Trek
Star Trek was something that my father introduced to the family. It was a story of the betterment of mankind and their struggle to overcome their foibles.

I love Star Trek’s optimism and hope for all.
The original Star Trek is the perfect blend of futuristic action, science, optimism, drama, adventure, intelligence, sense of humor and the strength of the human spirit to explore. The main qualities we use now in the 21st century as we prepare to go to Mars and beyond. Happy 50th birthday!
I love the community of Star Trek, I use to sit down and watch it with my family every night! Even the re-runs!

Star Trek is a classic that has stood the test of time. It is amazing how young and old love it. I think it allows us all to get away from everyday life and experience an adventure!
I love Star Trek because it is thought provoking, and has a positive outlook for the future.
