Pamela Ribon of ‘Slam’ to Make Appearance and Signing for L.A. Derby Dolls

Now for a story near and dear to my derby girl heart. Pamela Ribon (screenwriter of Moana, the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph sequel and the book Why Girls Are Weird) will be attending the L.A. Derby Dolls Fundraiser featuring the movie Whip It and a Cast Q&A. She’ll be signing limted-edition prints of the comic SLAM! to help raise money for the Derby Dolls. SLAM! is written by Ribon and artist Veronica Fish, following two friends in the world of roller derby.

Pamela Ribon also just so happens to skate with the L.A. Derby Dolls under the moniker “May Q. Holla.”
