Hello True Crime lovers; I’ve got a new weird game for you. The new game The Black Widow follows the true case of Australia’s first female serial killer, Louisa Collins. She would be the last woman to hang in the state of New South Wales in Australia. Using a Ouija Board style keyboard, players input words to see if Louisa will be willing to tell her story.
The goal of the game is to restore the gold to a picture frame as you speak with her. If you guess a word correctly, numbers will show up at the bottom of the screen. Each number provides with you with more clues to her story. Caution, this story gets dark. The story is bloody, discussed a heck of a lot of vomiting, and some super poisoning. The game has super creepy music in the background and her digital face speaking is creepy as hell, but kind of addictive.
The Black Widow is fun, but I will admit that Louisa’s speeches can get long. There is a super creepy one that she actually sings and it’s about two minutes long. My big suggestion is to make sure you read the Help section. While for some folks the game will being super intuitive, for others is going to take a hot minute to figure you need to do.
The Black Widow is available August 1, 2019 on iOS, Android and Steam.
