Glitterbomb #3, a little late, but man this holiday season is killing my brain cells. Sorta like whatever is in Farrah that is causing her to eat people. Amirite? This comic is starting to maybe, drag a bit? Three issues in and Farrah is still just going around killing people. We still don’t know why, although from this issue it looks like she might be going after people she feels wronged her in the past? Cliff screams I use sex to get my way and you better watch out if you know what’s good for you. So there is definite social commentary going on here. And her decision to go to the memorial for the dude she just kissed to death, seems to tell us that he’s not the only one from her past that she is after.
What I’m curious about, is if the monster inside her is feeding her rage or if it is just unleashing what was already there? Does that make sense? It’s like a chicken and the egg thing; was Farrah already a killer (in her head) before the monster overtook her or did the monster bring the killer with it? Either way, I’m interested to see who all she goes after next. Does she stop with just people who have wronged her personally? or does all of Hollywood get eaten? And how does she deal with her kid and the babysitter? Does she feel remorse at all when the monster overtakes her? There are way more questions than answers at this point, but that’s okay. I’ll keep reading. I’m pretty well hooked, and I’ll be danged if I don’t want to know what exactly she carries around inside her.
Luckily, I’m a month late with this issue (dang holidays) so I have the new issue already, so, maybe I’ll have some answers soon. Maybe.
