D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is bringing new magical events to members around the country! Here are some of the exciting offerings for 2016:
This year members got to explore behind the scenes locations such as the Animation Research Library and meet legendary Disney historian Dave Smith. Next year members will have access to even more locations, exciting guests and even a special gift. D23 members were treated to special screenings of beloved Disney classics as well as special advanced screenings on the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, CA, these will be returning in 2016 along with showings at the Disney World Resort in Florida. Lucky members will also receive complimentary movie tickets along with their D23 Magazine subscription. Luncheons with Disney Legends will also be returning and expanding to locations at the Disney World Resort as well next year. Member mixers and special showings of Disney’s Newsies in select cities will also be coming up along with special access to Mickey’s of Glendale. Everyone will also get to participate in the Fanniversary for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will be similar to the celebration in June for the 60th Anniversary of Lady and the Tramp.

- August 20: The Reluctant Dragon 75th anniversary screening event, Burbank, Calif.
