The “announcement trailer” Warner Bros just released for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Themis just enough to whet the appetite. We see a young Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) being given his assignment: Go to New York and find some magical creatures who have escaped from their “case.” He heads off to 1920’s New York with a case of his own, looking both bewildered and excited. After that–there is magic, we know that much, and we get to hear (but not see) some of the creatures in question and see Scamander start to do some magic.
