This should be interesting. Aleister Araane, Steve Niles’ horror comic from IDW Publishing, is headed to the movie screen with Jim Carrey as its star. Horror legend Eli Roth will direct. Carrey is no stranger to creepy roles, such as Count Olaf in A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Aleister Arcane, written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Breehn Burns, was published in 2004. The story focusrs on a group of kids who are friends with a local TV horror host that was forced off the air by their parents. After he passes, only the kids have the power to end the curse he has put on the town.
The film is currently in the adaptation stages, with no confirmed dates for release or production.
