Sadly, Disney’s California Adventure is losing the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In the summer of 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout will take its place. Park guests will move through the fortress like museum of The Collector to see the Guardians as the Galaxy, who are unfortunately being kept as prisoners. Guests will board a gantry lift to launch them into an adventure with Rocket Raccoon, as he tries to rescue his fellow Guardians. Guests will have the option to experience multiple, random and unique ride profiles along with the music inspired by the film’s soundtrack.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 comes to theaters May 5, 2017.
