Disney’s recent live-action remakes have provided us with hours of lavish visuals, with elegant costumes and stunning backrounds. New images from the upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast show that the studio plans to continue the tradition. Here we have Belle’s layered gown with its golden embroidery, exquisite music boxes in her father’s workshop, a surprisingly elegant feather-duster and more. The dusty old bookshop in the town still looks like a pleasant place to while away the time, and oh, I still want that library! I’d install a few more lights, though–or perhaps this version, too, has those marvelous, huge windows and the Beast just hasn’t opened the curtains yet.
What do you think? Looking forward to seeing the movie when it arrives on March 17, 2017?
