Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys onGame of Thrones, will be joining the upcoming standalone Han Solo film–one of the many portrayals of a galaxy far far away now coming from the Star Wars universe into ours. Her role has not yet been announced.
She joins Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo) and Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian) in the film which will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and released in 2018. Like Rogue One, this film is set prior to the events of the original Star Wars trilogy.
