Titan Comics and ITV Studios Global Entertainment, have teamed up to release two new projects for the 50th Anniversary of the 1960’s television show The Prisoner. The first is an oversized edition of the lost comicbook classic version of The Prisoner done by Jack Kirby and Gil Kane. They will also release a brand-new comic series based on The Prisoner series with writer Peter Milligan and artist Colin Lorimer.
The Prisoner first aired on TV Screens in Canada and the UK in 1967. It premiered on US television screens in 1968.
The art-sized hardcover Jack Kirby will come out in July and will also include bonus archive materials. It’s available for pre-order, but be prepared for a hefty price tag.
