Fox Films today announced a year-long celebration for the 50th anniversary of The Planet of the Apes franchise. The first film was released February 8, 1968 and from that day forward embedded itself in popular culture.
The year-long celebration will start with an exclusive exhibit and retrospective at the USC School of Cinematic Arts entitled “50 Years of Planet of the Apes.” This exhibit will feature props, costumes, photos, posters and artwork running from February 9, 2018 through May 12, 2018 at the Hugh Hefner Exhibition Hall.
