Phoenix Comic Fest 2018 runs this Memorial Day Weekend: May 24th – 27th, at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This convention is 16 years old and still running strong! Formerly Phoenix Comicon, the convention changed their name after the San Diego Comic-con International court case ruled that the word “comic-con” was a trademarked phrase. The Ninth Court of Appeals still has this verdict under review and we could see Phoenix Comic Fest return to its Comicon origins if the ruling is overturned.
Enough about comic convention politics! Let’s get down to who and what this pop culture event offers!

Hours of Operation
So you are READY to go. You BOUGHT YOUR BADGE and now you want to plan for the 4 Day Pop Culture Comic Convention known as PHX Comic Fest. Here are a couple things you should know…
- Programming Hours: This convention runs Thursday, May 24th through Sunday, May 27th.
- Exhibitor Hall / Artist Alley / Hall of Heroes: This convention has FLOORS of vendor, dealer, artist and charity booths.
- First Timers Guide: That’s right! The convention staff was kind enough to give you a guide to PHXCF.
If you want to meet FGN at Phoenix ComicFest you can find us wandering about taking pictures (Kincart Photography is our photo liaison), capturing video via GoPro or presenting at panels as ThermoCosplay. We are wearing many hats for this convention and we could not be more excited to share this experience with you!
