Would you like to help a fellow lover of audiobooks with his research and get a new experience yourself?
Nick Page is doing research into whether audio books can be more immersive.
He’s using the first 3 chapters of Fear and Loathing in last Vegas to make his audio book. Each chapter will be slightly different;
Chapter 1- normal audio book narration
Chapter 2- will have some sound effects (as if you’re watching a play)
Chapter 3- binaural, when you have headphones on, you can hear where the speech or noise is coming from.
Here is where you can come in.
Would you like to participate in this research? You will need to listen to the sample and answer a story questionnaire. The whole process will take about 40 minutes.
Nick needs needs helo from anyone, but he especially needs the aid of people who LOVE audio books, so he can determine if there’s truly a gap in the market.
