Good Luck, and HAPPY LISTENING!
Audiobooks, like movies, add a different aspect to a story. They let people enjoy stories while doing other things like walking, running, biking (er, maybe a tad dangerous), driving, or just listening as a family.
I LOVE audiobooks for when I’m on the road. They are excellent for feeling a sense of accomplishment while sitting in slow traffic.
I love audiobooks because I can be walking, hiking, driving, doing dishes or laundry and yard work while I enjoy a book. Sometimes there is just not enough hours in the day, and this way I can get all the weeds pulled in my garden AND finish a book. After working with a narrator to produce an audiobook, I have immense appreciation for the talent it take to narrate one.
I have so little time these days but I commute a lot, I love that I can read all the books I’ve always wanted to & meant to while I’m doing house work or in my car — without taking my eyes off the road 🙂
I haven’t done audio books before and just haven’t had time to read. I drive a lot so it would be a great opportunity to get new stories and change my day up.
Audio books are great for those of us who enjoy multi tasking while hearing a great story, have failing eye sight and still keep up with “reading” bile of books.
Audio books are great for travels and are sometimes the only time I have to read. I also love that I can finish listening when I get to where I am going.
My favorite is a dramatize audiobook. I can let someone tell me a story and hear the voices and let my mind fill in the rest!
I like dramaticized audiobooks! I just listen to all the voices and let my mind do the rest!
I’m very interested in trying audio books since I love to read but don’t really have the time to do so. I’d love to be able to hear some of the books I have waiting on my list.
I appreciate audio books because it gives my brain and eyes a chance to relax and enjoy. For the last ten yeas I have been in school earning my bachelors, masters, taking my boards and working. I feel like I am either stuck in front of a computer studying or in a medical book studying. I love books but I just simply stopped leisure reading because my eyes are to tired. Then my daughter had me try an audio book and I LOVED IT! Finally a chance to relax and enjoy a good book again♡
Listening to a book is going on the adventure with another person – the narrator. I do love a good audiobook. Some of my favorites have been The Martian by Andy Weir, the Terre D’Ange Cycle by Jacqueline Carey, and The Gentlemen Bastards series by Scott Lynch.
I truly appreciate audiobooks because they give me the opportunity to listen to and enjoy so many more books than I would be able to if I was reading them.
I like listening to audiobooks while I’m working. It makes the day go by so much faster!
