Skate Kitchen is the first narrative film from director Crystal Moselle. The story follows Camille, an introverted teenager who loves skateboarding. She makes friends with an all-girl skateboarding crew called Skate Kitchen. Her life soon involves the in-crowd, issues with her mother, and a relationship with a skateboarder guy played by Jaden Smith.
The film stars Rachelle Vinberg, Jaden Smith, Dede Lovelace, Nina Moran, Kabrina Adams, Ajani Russell, Jules Lorenzo, Brenn Lorenzo, Hisham Tawfiq, and Elizabeth Rodriguez.
Skate Kitchen comes to theaters August 10, 2018.
