David Tilotta and Curt McAloney have put together a gorgeous book, Star Trek: Lost Scenes. For hardcore Star Trek fans this one is a delight. The book is divided into three parts: Behind the Scenes, Deleted Scenes, and Bloopers. Behind the Scenes includes pictures of blue screen filming, sets, visual effects. The book is highly factual, but honestly it’s just fun to flip through the book for fun if you’re not in the reading mood. Deleted Scenes includes the parts of the script that were removed from post production.
Bloopers is where it’s at though. There are pictures of awkward faces, funny stories, and just a whole wealth of pictures that are funny.
