Former Simpson’s artist Dante Fabiero has compiled an adorable book of comics focusing on Slothilda, a loveable sloth trying to learn to live her best life. Along with her adorable pet corgi, Peanut, Slothilda is a coffee-loving introvert that is guilty of all of our favorite slothful habits. She finds herself the most authentic when on the couch. She knows she should workout, but is happy to do heavy-lifting when it involves going to her local bakery.
Slothilda: Living the Sloth Life is living an introvert’s dream life in an animator’s heart. Fabiero’s style is like a more adorable Adam Ellis. Slothilda takes on our deepest desires to be a homebody doing nothing but relax and snuggle with her dog. The lines are simple, not over complicating the pages with intricate backgrounds or patterns. This book is enjoyable for all ages, but for older folks who are tired of adulting, this is a joy. I will admit to going through this book a few times just for the pleasure of it.
