Caitlyn Doughty is no stranger to death culture. She began her career as a crematorium employee and went on to help found The Order of the Good Death, as well as write two best-selling books. In the new podcast Death in the Afternoon, Doughty and her assistant Louise Hung cover well researched stories to help educate others about death culture. They are joined by The Order of the Good Death member Sarah Chavez for her special brand of story telling as well.
In short, this podcast is magical. It handles the concept of death respectfully, intelligently, and in a way that leaves you not feeling icky when you’re done listening.
