Lucas films has released a few more names for their first-ever live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. The series is set to start Pedro Pascal as the lone gunfighter, a Mandalorian on the outer reaches of the galaxy. His fellow cast members include Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte.
The Mandalorian is currently in production and is written and executive produced by Jon Favreau. Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy are set to keep story on track. Some of the directors for individual episodes will be Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thor Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi.
“We’re having a great time working with this incredibly talented group and excited for everyone to see what we’re up to,” says Executive Producer Jon Favreau.
The Mandalorian us set to come to Disney’s streaming service in late 2019.
