Emerald City Comic Con – What to See


ECCC (Emerald City Comic Con) takes Seattle by storm this time next week! It’s held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington each year. Here are a few things we think you should know about the event in 2019…

Entrance Changes

ECCC has changed their entry procedures this year. With the addition of the Hyatt to their comic con campus, they had to reconfigure traffic. Please see the image below for how to enter the con OR check out the change in full detail here: SECURITY CHANGES.

New Changes – Hyatt, Cosplay, Guests and More

2019 is the year of change for this event. Aside from the new entry procedures, the following have been moved, added or adjusted…

  • Hyatt Regency has joined the campus & will be home to Celebrity Photos/Autographs and the Main Stage.
  • Another hall was added to oor!show floor!
  • Gaming moved to TCC Lower Level.
  • Cosplay Central is back on WSCC Level 3!
  • SyFy Wire stage moved to the new hall (Hall 4A).

Things to See

DreamWorks She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will be at this year’s Emerald City Comic Con! Be sure to be in WSCC 611 on Saturday at 12:15PM for words from the Executive Producer Noelle Stevenson.

The Championships of Cosplay returns for another year. Judges include…

  • Downen Creative Studios
  • Canvas Cosplay
  • Sanit of the Weta Workshop

Celebrities have increased! ECCC has guests from all manner of industries including names such as Gwendoline Christie (GoT) and Jason Isaacs (Star Trek/Harry Potter)!

How to Attend

First, head on over to https://www.emeraldcitycomiccon.com/Home/ and click on “Buy Tickets”. If you don’t see a day you want visit the Lyte Ticket Exchange to see if someone is selling their pass.

Next, head on over to the Washington State Convention Center March 14th-17th from 10AM – 8 PM daily for a show that is sure to please!
