Diane Egan’s last night on earth wasn’t exactly great. She made more than one faux pas at a party, and then managed to get killed on her way home when she tried to climb into the front seat of her Uber to plug in her phone. Now she’s a ghost. Only, she wasn’t supposed to become one. Now the afterlife is trying to track her down while Diane has to deal with haunting bad Tinder dates, high school friends, and the people she didn’t really like so much. The series Guess I’m a Ghost takes on “nice guys,” coming on too strong in the dating world, how we deal with grief, and the things we leave behind. Diane is intentionally not that likeable and feels more real than someone trying to be a saint.
