Wild Eye Releasing has really hit the jackpot of crazy with Velocipastor, the dino-priest, ninja-busting film Velocipastor hitting home release later this summer. The film features Aurelio Voltaire as the title character along with Gregory James Cohan, Alyssa Kempinski, Daniel Steere, Yang Jiechang, Jesse Turits and Fernando Pacheco de Castro.
We don’t have a ton of info on what will clearly be a masterpiece just yet, but we do have a poster and trailer to drool over before release. Lucky patrons of Texas Frightmare last weekend were treated to a special midnight screening, though, so hopefully we will get to hear some of the more juicy tidbits in the next few weeks. Until then, take a look at the official synopsis:
“After a devastating family tragedy, a priest travels to China to find deeper spirituality, but instead is endowed with an ancient ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first, he is horrified by his newfound superpower, but a local prostitute convinces him to use his newfound gift to fight evil – and ninjas.”
Much like Caroushell, I am quite jazzed to see this instant gem. Are you?
