Todd Millstead is a waste of humanity claiming to be a writer. He has never finished a project and his chief skills are drinking whiskey, cheating on his wife Janis, and quoting verbatim from a book called All My Colors. When his wife finally leaves him, Todd realizes he has no money and that Janis has hired the best attorney in town. He also realizes that not only has no one ever heard of All My Colors, but the book doesn’t exist. He realizes that using his eidetic memory of the text he can recreate the book and make some money. However, the book has other plans, and they are coming for Todd and everyone he knows.
All of My Colors is a horror novel, mixed with comedy, and a strange premise that makes it hard to put down. David Quantick creates a series of characters that you both want to hit with great force and see through to the end of the day. Quantick is able to create images that stick with you, even when you don’t want them to.
