Though the podcast is no longer active, The Thrilling Adventure Hour continues through comicbook form. Beyond Belief: Resident Evil features Frank and Sadie Doyle doing what they do best; drinking and handling ghosts. When Frank and Sadie go on a quick trip to a haunted house, they find not only a ghost, but something with fangs. However, this is only the start of the mystery and they soon find themselves finding unwanted vampire guests at their front door.
It is very difficult for my mind to separate Frank and Sadie from Paul F. Tomkpins and Paget Brewster. As such, I always hear the text in their voices when going through the text. The art is very cartoonish in this installment, but it seems to heighten the camp of the story versus take away from it. BOOM! is handling these continuations with care and I absolutely adore the chance to relive Thrilling Adventure Hour through them.
