With their first anniversary just around the corner, To Ears With Love wants to make sure to share the love of being read to by professional narrators. Every weekday Behind the Mic shares a quick look at new audiobooks and play a short clip so listeners can get a feel of what the book is about and how it sounds. With the sheer amount of audiobooks that come out everyday, it can be hard to keep up. Host Jo Reed and the Editor team at Audiofile Magazine narrow it down to those that stand out. They also regularly offer interviews with book narrators, such as the amazing January LaVoy, narrator of The Diviners series. Fortunately for my ears (but unfortunately for my wallet), this podcast has given me a whole slew of new titles to check out.
