If you love Romantic Comedies, Los Angeles has your back this June. Rom Com Fest is official returning for the second year from Thursday June 25-Sunday June 28, 2020. This year they’ve added Rachel Bloom from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and writer Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith from Legally Blonde and 10 Things I Hate about You to the advisory board. This experimental festival opened for the first time last year as part tradtional film festivals, deserts and activities, with the festival organized by Miraya Berke from Pop Productions. There’s even an event boutique studio and dessert festival.
“With Rom Com Fest, I am looking to create more than a film festival, but an experience where the community of rom com lovers can connect and enjoy this beloved genre. I hope for the festival to be a space for filmmakers to share their work and connect with other like-minded people, and for fans to celebrate love and the positive feelings of joy”, says Executive Director Miraya Berke.
