Christmas may be over, but Mike Mignolia is still providing gifts to Hellboy fans. There are three different stories in The Hellboy Winter Special. The first features Hellboy and two companions as they seek out the ghost of a famous Miser to give him back something that should not have been given. The second finds a good old fashioned murder mystery turned monster sighting. The final follows the mysterious Beast of Ingelheim and a priests disturbing confession.
As always, the artwork is gorgeously atmospheric and dark. With everything going on in the world, it was nice to get one more present from Dark Horse.
The Hellboy Winter Special is available January 15, 2020.
