Writer and author Valerie Minelli has one of the most adorable comics out on the internet. You can usually find them delightfully tucked into an Instagram (@Mrs.Frollein) feed or on her website. They are usually simple four panel comics about the mundane things in life, but they are so heartfelt and sweet its difficult not to fall in love with her work. Her new collection, Small Hours: A Mrs. Follein Collection has been one of my favorite things to come out in the early part of 2020 and I definitely wanted to share it with all of you.
Whether its silly relationship adventures, the importance of pets, or just our quiet moments, the collection puts together many of Minelli’s fan favorite comics, as well as twenty-five new strips that haven’t been released before. One of my favorites was a comic featuring her ordering a blender from Amazon, only to have Amazon force many more blenders upon her. It is really hard not to fall madly and totally in love with Minelli’s art.
