Make it Sew is giving us some happy things to look at in these weird times. With an incredible name (I’m pretty susceptible to Star Trek puns) and a creator with an awesome attitude, we knew we had to share her style with the world. Make it Sew is a woman-owned business (heck yes) and everything is handmade. Mikki’s company name is Star Trek-based, but she is open to the types of Fandom. Her store features items from Star Wars, Batman, the Avengers, the X-Men, Pokemon, and other nerdy staples.
So far, my favorite has been the Baby Yoda Purse:

Make it Sew also has a variety of Baby Yodas…who sometimes go on adventures when we aren’t in lock down as a world.

On a personal note, I should mention when we were chatting about this article she made some amazing references that had me laughing. Mikki is a 100% service-connected disabled veteran. She started Make it Sew after a recommendation from her therapist, who lovingly told her to “get a hobby.” Mikki is mostly active on Facebook.
