Titan Comics and Guerilla have announced they are teaming up for the first original comic book series set in the world of PS-4 game Horizon Zero Dawn. The first cover is done by Stanley “Artgerm” Laus. The story is set on earth way in the future. Nature has reclaimed the planet, and big animal-like machines are everywhere. The story follows a young woman named Aloy, on a journey to figure out where she comes from while exploring the past.
The series is co-created by Anne Tool, with artwork by Ann Maulina. The series will take place after the events of the game. Issue #1 is set to premiere July 22, 2020. Fans of Horizon Zero Dawn can also check out a one-shot prequel comic for Free Comic Book Day 2020.
