Spy Island is the new comic series from Dark Horse about a den of intrigue located on an island in the Bermuda Triangle. Super spy Nora Freud is stationed on the island to keep an eye on all of the other spies, tourists, and evil villains set on global domination. Nora is a bit weary of the spy lifestyle, as she is so good at it and wants a new challenge. There are regular parties with people pretending to be someone else, but she can spot fellow spy agencies a mile away. However, things seem like they are about to get more interesting.
Spy Island is a four-issue limited series from from author Chelsea Cain. The gorgeous art is done by Elise McCall, with coloration by Rachelle Rosenberg. It’s a quick, fun read for those who like James Bond and would love to see a woman take on the role.
