Saturday August 29th, ForbiddenPlanet.com helps celebrate the Forbidden Planet store that started it all. Their 42nd Birthday (which of course we know is the meaning of everything) will be an online star-studded affair featuring William Shatner, DMC, Neil Gaiman, Alice Cooper, Jonathan Ross, Gerard Way, Garth Ennis, Kevin Smith, Michael Moorcock, Simon Pegg, Mark Millar, Dan Slott, V.E. Schwab, Dave Gibbons, Brian Bolland, Dirk Maggs, Chris Claremont & Ben Aaronovich amongst others, hosted by Forbidden Planet’s Andrew Sumner. There will also be a tribute for the late Douglas Adams (of Hitchuker’s Guide and Doctor Who fame) hosted by Neil Gaiman.
