If you’re a horror fan who loves the classics, you may have come across Gaston Leroux’s Phantom of the Opera. While Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music is probably more famous, it…well, departs from the original text pretty heavily. The original is a masterclass in horror and A Wave Blue World Publishing has announced the upcoming release of Phantom of the Opera on October 20, 2020. The this trade paperback is illustrated and adapted by Varga Tomi. Tomi is a huge fan of the original book, and has visited the Paris Opera house for in-person sketching and research, so expect some pretty gorgeous details.
