Based on the book of the same name by author Meir Shalev, the new film Esau marks the first English film for Russian-French director Pavel Lungin. Esau starts Harvey Keitel, Lior Ashkenazi, Mark Ivanir, and Shira Haas. Esau comes to digital and VOD December 1, 2020.

A writer (Lior Ashkenazi) returns to the family home in Israel to care for his ailing father (Harvey Keitel) and must face his embittered younger brother, who assumed all the responsibility for their family bakery…and married the woman (Shira Haas) whom they both loved.
