Netflix and the Brooklyn Museum have collaborated to present a virtual treat for costume fanatics of the The Crown and The Queen’s Gambit.
This virtual exhibit will focus on costumes from Season 4 of Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning drama series The Crown and New limited series The Queen’s Gambit
The exhibit is accompanied by a virtual panel discussion moderated by Academy Award-winning Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter who examines behind the scenes insight into the wardrobe creations by Costume Designers Gabriele Binder and Amy Roberts alongside Brooklyn Museum Curator, Matthew Yokobosky.

After soaring through the white pillars, viewers will enter a “room.” The room will contain a curated outfits from both shows. Clicking on the outfits will highlight close-up of details such as the pins and buttons. There will also be a option for learning more info on the dress history. Some of the outfits will have an associated art piece close by that will add additional historical info to the shows.
On the top upper right corner, there will be an option to listen to the designers and watch the shows themselves.
It’s a fun, little virtual experience that fans of the show will appreciate. Or for some of us, an incentive to catch up on the shows!
