Disney+ has debuted the trailer for the upcoming film Safety, inspired by the story of former Clemson University Football player Ray McElrathbey. The film stars Jay Reeves, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Corinne Foxx, Matthew Glave, Hunter Sansone, Amanda Warren, Miles Burris, Issac Bell, Elijah Bell, and James Badge Dale. Safety is directed by Reginald Mudlin.
The film follows McElrathbey’s life of facing challenging adversity of caring for his 11-year-old brother while fighting to succeed on the field at Clemson University.
Safety comes to Disney+ Friday December 11, 2020.
